Why Enve?
Frequently Asked Questions
Which ENVE bike is right for me?
The Melee V2 puts road racing first, combining low weight, aerodynamic efficiency, and responsive handling. The Fray brings road performance to longer days, rough pavement, and mixed routes. The MOG is purpose-built for gravel racing and exploration. The Custom Road starts with your fit, with geometry and handling tailored to your riding.
How do I order an ENVE through Métier?
Start with a conversation at our Seattle shop or send us an inquiry about the model you’re considering. We’ll discuss your riding, fit, preferred specification, and budget, then confirm pricing and availability. From sizing through assembly and the final fit check, we coordinate the build with you.
Do I need a bike fit before ordering?
An established fit gives us a strong starting point. Without one, our New Bike Sizing Session determines your position and guides frame size, crank length, cockpit dimensions, and saddle selection before we order. For the Custom Road, our Custom Bike Fit provides the measurements ENVE uses to develop your frame geometry.
Can Métier customize an ENVE bike’s factory specification?
Yes. We can revise the factory build or assemble your ENVE from the frame up. Gearing, wheels, crank length, handlebars, tires, and saddle can all be selected around your fit, riding, and budget. Talk to us before ordering so we can coordinate the specification directly with ENVE.
What is included in the listed bike price?
Listed prices cover the bike in the specified build configuration. Sales tax, bike fitting, and assembly service charges are additional. Changes to components or specification may also affect the price. We’ll confirm the full cost of your build, including applicable services and tax, before you commit.
What is the difference between a tailored ENVE build and the Custom Road?
A tailored build uses a production frame, such as the Melee V2, Fray, or MOG, with components selected for you. The Custom Road takes that process into the frame itself, with custom geometry, Race or All Road handling, and personal paint. Both approaches begin with your fit and intended use.
What support is available after I buy an ENVE?
Métier is your point of contact for servicing, fit adjustments, and coordinating product support with ENVE. ENVE also provides a limited lifetime warranty on eligible frames, rims, and components for the original owner, alongside a separate crash replacement program. Coverage depends on the product and ENVE’s terms.
Is the ENVE Fray suitable for Seattle winter riding?
The Fray is a strong choice for winter road miles. Fender compatibility, generous tire clearance, and integrated tool storage suit wet weather and rough pavement, while its lightweight carbon construction and aerodynamic shaping keep performance central to the ride. Tire and fender choices should be considered together when planning your build.
